Resumen
Objective:
To compare nursing interventions for self-care actions performed by expert patients managing self-care, primarily selected in the scientific literature on standardized nursing language, with the classification of interventions established in the Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC).
Methods:
This descriptive, exploratory, cross-mapping study adopted a qualitative approach to compare the interventions listed in the scientific literature on self-care actions performed by expert patients with the taxonomy of standardized nursing interventions (NIC). The study was carried out using NIC (7th edition) as a technique for mapping non-standardized nursing language into standardized nursing language. In the first stage, 56 articles were selected for the cross-mapping process; these were applied to use the cross-mapping methodology.
