Resumen
This randomized controlled trial evaluated two postural interventions for elite rhythmic gymnasts with low back pain over 12 weeks. Material and methods Using the Spinal Mouse device, researchers assessed spinal curvatures, mobility, and functionality. The experimental group followed the Mezieres method, while the comparator group performed six Isostretching postures. Results Both interventions significantly improved sagittal plane alignment in upright standing, flexion, and extension (p < 0.05). Results showed significant effects over time, between groups, and in time-group interactions. Conclusions Findings suggest that both Mezieres and Isostretching techniques effectively enhance postural alignment and mobility in rhythmic gymnasts with low back pain.
