Relación entre la movilidad diafragmática media por ecografía y el descenso de la hipercapnia en pacientes con ventilación mecánica no invasiva.

Abstract
Objetivo:
Correlacionar el aumento de la movilidad diafragmática, medido a través de ecografía, tras el inicio de la VMNI en modo BiPAP con la disminución de la pCO2 en pacientes con IRH.
Método:
Estudio prospectivo observacional realizado en el Servicio de Urgencias del Hospital General Universitario Reina Sofía de Murcia. Se realizaron mediciones antes de iniciar la VMNI, a los 15 minutos (sin gasometría), a la hora y a las 3 horas. 2 técnicas ecográficas: una directa (MDD) mediante la medición del desplazamiento de la cúpula del diafragma y otra indirecta (MDP) mediante la medición del desplazamiento de la rama izquierda de la vena porta entre la inspiración y la espiración.
Resultados:
A los 15 minutos, la MDD aumentó una media de 2,5 mm y la MDP de 2,43 mm. A la hora, la MDD aumentó una media 6,2 mm, por 3,64 mm de la MDP. La pCO2 descendió en la primera hora una media de 8,34 mmHg. La correlación entre la media de la MDD (basal a 15 minutos) y el descenso a la hora de...
