Documentación, conservación y difusión de un retablo a través de la Geomática: el retablo barroco de la Iglesia de San Miguel en Murcia

Abstract

El conocimiento científico de los retablos es fundamental para poder acometer mejor su conservación y es importante darle una correcta difusión. Por ello, el objetivo de este estudio es realizar y dar a conocer el levantamiento gráfico tridimensional del retablo barroco de la Iglesia de San Miguel de Murcia con calidad métrica, reflexionar a partir de él sobre los procesos de creación artística y difundir la información a través de la utilización de plataformas informáticas libres, garantizando el acceso a los valores patrimoniales.

This paper delves into the study of the Spanish legal framework dealing with one of the main principles that ensure access to culture: the legal duty to allow public and free visit to Cultural Heritage properties, which is a basic pillar of any modern society, included in the various Historical Heritage laws existing in our country. For this purpose, we analyze the current jurisprudence related to the right of public visit through several practical cases, which go from the conflicts caused by the collision of the right of public visit against other rights until the dilemma between access Cultural Heritage properties and their conservation.
